How to Use AI to Write Your TikTok Scripts Without Sounding Like a Robot

Xtopher, April 9, 2026April 10, 2026

AI can save you hours.

But most creators quit too early.

Because what they get back sounds like:

👉 a corporate ad

That’s not an AI problem.

👉 That’s a prompting problem

Why most AI scripts don’t work

Most people type:

“write me a TikTok script about cologne”

That’s too vague.

So AI gives you:

  • generic
  • polished
  • robotic

Because AI writes exactly what you ask for.

👉 vague input = vague output

The fix: be specific

You need to tell AI:

  • your voice
  • your audience
  • your tone
  • your goal

The more specific you are…

👉 the better it performs

The exact prompt to use

Paste this into ChatGPT or Claude.

“Write a TikTok script for a fragrance creator named Chris. His voice is direct, slightly blunt, warm but not soft, and honest. He never uses hype language. He is reviewing

. His audience is primarily US based women and men aged 35 to 44 who buy fragrance but are not fragrance nerds. They want to know if something is worth buying without wasting money on a blind buy. The script should be 45 to 60 seconds when spoken aloud. Start with a strong hook that would stop someone from scrolling. Include what the fragrance actually smells like in plain everyday language, not perfume jargon. Include who this is for and who should skip it. End with a simple clear close, no hype. Do not use the words amazing, incredible, obsessed, or game changer.”

That alone fixes most of your problem.

How to make it sound human

After the first draft, say this:

“Rewrite this in a more conversational tone. Make it sound like I’m talking to a friend, not presenting a product. Shorten any sentence that feels too formal. Replace any perfume jargon with plain language a non-fragrance person would understand.”

This step matters.

Because AI writes clean.

You want it to sound real.

How to train AI on your voice

This is where it gets powerful.

Take 2 to 3 pieces of your best content.

Paste them into AI.

Then say:

“This is my writing style. For all future responses in this conversation, match this tone and style exactly.”

Now it adapts to you.

Not the other way around.

Your one action from this post

Open ChatGPT or Claude right now.

Pick one fragrance.

Paste the prompt.

Fill in the product.

See what comes back.

You’ll have a usable script in minutes.
